Floundering Podcast

Branding | Cover Art

When two of the funniest people you know start a podcast, it’s a joy to work with them to craft their cover art.

We explored many variations on the theme of the show - two millennials haplessly, cheerfully set adrift in their lives - and stay current with design trends that speak to their audience.

After rounds of smiley faces, mazes, life preservers, and doomed paper airplane trajectories, we landed on a detailed rendering of the humble flounder fish itself - a hard pivot from the fish we came to know in The Little Mermaid, and a stark visual metaphor for the realities of adulthood.
